SS# 11XX Very nice S&W single shot 22 cal. pistol. From a local estate sale this pistol is in excellent condition for it's age. The gun apears to be perfect mechanicaly and has a bright bore and a tight action. The grips are in good condition with no cracks or chips. The original blue has some wear towards the end of the barrel as well as the entire trigger guard and a few sctatchs and dings on the receiver (see photos). Although I am not an expert from what I have read this is a first model (model of 1891) single shot target pistol with an 8" barrel (only 826 made in all barrel lengths). Sorry no trades on this gun.
