LG1261 Here is a direct descendant of what we call the Stevens Boy’s Rifle. This is the Springfield Model 120A Single Shot Bolt Action, manufactured some time in the 1970s. From its P220000 range serial number, we estimate it was manufactured in 1973 or 1974. Type is pull knob single shot. The hammer mechanism does not cock while a person cycles the bolt to load or unload. One must catch the large plunger handle or knob on the back of the bolt to cock the rifle. Construction is all steel, with nicely grained hardwood one piece stock. Sights are blade front with grooved receiver rear sight that holds in place by a set screw, as the photo show. The grooves will allow a person to remove the rear sight and install a grooved receiver scope. Barrel is 22 inch blue steel, and note that the trigger and its guard are blued steel as well. Stock is very nicely grained gloss finished hardwood. Surface detractions are only moderate. This rifle’s principal detraction is the damage to its butt plate. We rate it as Very Good, 80 percent vicinity; but photos ought to suffice for our shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. It is excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. We’re offering this good little Savage for only $139.00.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $20 flat fee lower 48 states; $60 Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, UPS Ground with full insurance coverage. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
