From a gun store liquidation in our neighboring sister State of Mississippi comes this pristine set of Colt Factory Grips for the Lawman or Trooper III series revolvers manufactured from the mid 1960s until the late 1980s. These will not fit old model I frame Troopers or the later 1990s Mark V Series Troopers. They only fit those sweet slick Troopers from the Carter and Reagan Years. Construction is Goncalo Alves with gold plated factory Rampant Colt logos, blue steel escutcheon and grip screws. Type is what we call Magna or Service style, not oversize target. Doubtless the reason these survived are that it was a nickel revolver, and its owner installed a set of Pachmayrs. The only surface detractions on these are inside the panels, where a thoughtful Mississippian inked the Model number. We classify them as Mint and Unfired, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves.
