Barrel length 30 inches OL length 46 7/8 inches Twist 1:24 .50 caliber great for sabot! weight 9.26 lbs. Octagonal barrel rust blued, case hardened lock and trigger guard, double set trigger, set trigger pull at about 2.5 pounds, adjustable. I have a " Mag-spark " nipple on this rifle so it can use 209 shotgun primers, I used only Blackhorn 209 powder in it, and it fires very well that way. got nice groups with Barnes 290 gr Spit-fire TMZ and about 100 grains of the Blackhorn. I am selling a Leatherwood Malcom shot 3x scope in another listing that I had on this rifle. A few light marks on the stock, and at the muzzle, bore is near perfect. I used only Hoppes' solvent, Gun scrubber and Barricade for cleaning and rust prevention. No water to clean. Fore stock has a crack that I epoxied for repair, other than that the gun is near mint in condition. Beautiful Maple stock. Comes in original box with manual, original #11 nipple, wrench, mounts for Malcolm type scope ( drilled and tapped ). This Hawken is listed on Cherry's sight at $1130.00 the mag spark goes for about $25 as do the scope bases. So new about a $1180.00 value.
