Serial # USA1911MA Recognizing "100 Years at America's Side" This custom, one-of-a-kind, Colt 1911 is the Massachusetts Edition of a strictly limited edition of 1911's produced in coordination with the Colt Custom Shop. Only One per State was Produced plus

USA1911USA, USA1911USA1, USA1911PRES and two others that were for private presentation Only 55 of these "Heritage Edition" 1911s have been produced-- 50 are represented in a special "One-per-state" edition with a unique serial number featuring USA-1911- and the state abbreviation. This gun features serial number USA1911MA for Massachusetts. Only one Colt 1911 fan from Massachusetts will get to own this special handgun. In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the 1911's designation as the official side arm of the U.S. military, the left side of this collector colt features the inscription "100 Years at America's Side" highlighted by the iconic Rampant Colt, both in 24K gold. The right side features the "Heritage Edition" designation flanked by the dates 1911 and 2011.

Frame and sides of slide are polished to Colt Custom Shop National Match finish. "One of One" The rear of the slide features the 24K "One of One" logo, recognizing this 1911 as the one and only Massachusetts Heritage Edition that will ever be made. The grips of are the Colt option smooth cocobolo with centered Rampant Colt medallion.
