This is a very clean sidelock drilling trade gun, Wittener-Stahl steel barrels, proof marks and date stamp indicate it was made pre-war, in East Germany (at the time), and the date stamp indicates 6thJuly1896. The gun is fully functional with tang flip up sites, ammo door in stock and barrel selector. Hairline cracks in wood finish are consistent with age of the firearm, all in all, immaculate for its age in both appearance and functionality. Full proof mark pics upon request.
