RARE, limited edition Kimber of Oregon Super America Big Game Rifle produced in Clackamas, Oregon for the National Sporting Fraternity League in 1990. Beautiful M89 in .338 Winchester Magnum with strongly figured California Claro walnut. Features include: beaded cheekpiece, inletted sling studs, steel grip cap, ebony foreend tip, 20 LPI multi-point checkering and red Kimber butt pad, square bridge receiver, M70 style safety. 24 inch medium sporter taper barrel. Right side of barrel is engraved in cursive script: “One of One Hundred for the N.S.F.L.”. Bottom metal is engraved with NSFL logo: “hunting horn with stag head and fishing fly”. All metal is finished in high polish deep blue-black. Option upgrade: sight package with pedestal mounted, folding leaf rear sight and ramped front sight. Kimber rings and Leupold Vari-X III 3.5 X 10 scope with duplex reticule. Scope has 3 handling scratch mark areas on body of objective lens bell. Rifle test fired by original owner. Stock has one very small blemish in finish below cheekpiece, otherwise condition is “as new”. In Kimber case with copy of 14 pages of correspondence documenting the 3+ years from concept and order in 1987 to production and delivery in 1990. M89 ownership manual in Kimber grey vinyl pouch.
