Early center fire HOWDAH in about 50 cal, with rifled barrels which are 7" long. Strong rifling with dirty bores, Has landyard ring, simple chisel engravings on the frame, no makers name or proofs found. Locks up tight, left hammer is good with two cocks, and the right hammer has one cock. Overall the metal has salt, and pepper pitting, with some splotches of rust pitting along the barrel. Small bead for front sight.
