Winchester Model 62A Gallery Gun in 22 Short only, Serial # 334xxx (1955 Vintage). Receiver retains all of 96-98% Original Blue with some minor freckling and absolutely no or very little blue on the bolt (See Photos). The entire front end must have seen the weather more than the receiver when it was shot by the customer. Receiver would have been pretty well covered up when being shot. Finish on the front end is 80-85% with the tube carrying mid to high 90's. Bore is Mint in this gun which is unusual. Numbers do match. Buttstock wood is sound with no cracks & expected wear on the pistol grip. Quite a bit of varnish left. Forend wood is sound with one 1/2" chip at the receiver end (not pictured and not major). A Rare Old Gallery Gun with less than normal wear for the vintage and still a great shooter and still quite collectible. FFL or C&R required. Priced very fairly. Thanks for Looking.
