This handgun gun requires the use of half moon clips to get maximum shootability from it (ease of loading and emptying). You can shoot without these clips but you will have to poke the emptys out with a pencil or stick. These pistols were issued to the military during WW1 to aleviate the shortage of 1911 pistols. The govt. required them to be of the same caliber as the 1911, hence the use of half moon clips. It has a wartime blued finish. This pistol is in good condition and but exhibits some wear, the grips are walnut and also show some wear. These pistols are very collectable and comes with a holster(somewhat worn and not US GI) and a box of 100 rds of Federal ammo.It also comes with some half moon clips.
