Colt M1903 Hammerless Cal .32 ACP "U.S. Property" marked. Serial number 564XXX Shows maufacture in 1943. Procured for military use during WW II. Issued to OSS agents and General Officers as a personal sidearm. Original parkerized finish with extensive holster and handling wear. Edge wear and grip strap wear is evident. Excellent bright bore. Correct checkered walnut grips show extensive wear. "45" marked on left web. Probable OSS pistol and came out of China a number of years ago. Good example of a WWII secondary military pistol which had an interesting history. Complete with Colt factory letter showing shipping date and U.S. Military delivery.
