Made by Uberti, in Italy, for the American Historical Foundation & is very rare. The finish is SOLID STERLING SILVER, & does tarnish, as sterling is supposed to & needs polishing once in a while. Has gorgeous hand scroll engraving, everywhere, including trigger guard, barrel, frame, trigger, etc, It is a General George S Patton Jr. Commemorative, with ivory looking grips, with medallions on both sides with 1885 to 1945 on them, and “GSP” engraved on one side. Still has the original tags attached, with strap - so its unturned & unfired Revolver has the military loop, on the bottom-like the originals, only 2500 were ever made, Serial # P0048.
