J. Steven's Tip-Up Rifle .25 RF s/n 191XX (Antique; Pre 1899)24” oct/rd barrel. – Stamped "J. Stevens Chicopee Mass Pat Sept 6, 1884" total length of gun = 38”
Probable restoration; excellent plus appearance. - Crisp metal; 98% plating on frame, t.guard, & buttplate, forend and stock look restored, fine work by professional restorer. Barrel retains most of soft original blue, thinning evenly for an overall coverage of maybe 70%. Good markings with “J. STEVENS & CO” wording on barrel address. Good mechanical; usual bore. $585
