We're 90 miles East of Memphis, 75 miles North of Tupelo, very handy to I-40 & US 45. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>This Winchester Model 37 Single Shot, the 37 Steelbilt, is entirely original; it is a 28 inch Full Choke – marked simply Choke ; and we consider it to be in Very Good Condition. Metal surface is 60 to 70 percent bluish brown patina, with the remainder being original blue. Buttstock has twin cracks behind the receiver along the upper tang, and they have been expertly repaired and blended. Otherwise, stock and forend have light to moderate pecking that affects 30 percent of their surface area by our estimate; fewer than a half dozen of the pecks are conspicuous. Choke constriction is .587, and the 37 was always taper choked. All we had to do to this fine little shotgun was replace one of its snap-on forend springs. The 37 Steelbilt, of course, was manufactured from 1936 until 1963 only, and they were not serialized. From our knowledge of the collection this one came from, we estimate it was manufactured some time in the late 1950s. We're offering this fine old 37 Steelbilt 20 gauge for only $ 549.95 IF THIS SHOTGUN DOES NOT SELL BY DECEMBER 31, IT WILL GO TO THE HIGH BIDDER IN OUR IN-STORE AUCTION ON JANUARY 16, 2010, REGARDLESS OF PRICE.
