This pistol is a Colt MK IV Series 80 General Officers Model in .45 ACP with 2 Mags. The pistol is SS with a bright stainless overall finish with the exception of the matte finish on the sight portion (top) of the slide. The grips are unique in that they are smooth wood with a high lacquered finish The box is the two piece white styrofoam that has the maroon colored cardboard sleeve over it with all original paperwork and letter from Colt. It says "General Officer" and has the serial no. on one end flap. The serial no: is: SS26xxx The gun was a product of Colt's Custom Shop and was a limited run of 350. It was manufactured in 1987.
