Colt model 1911 US Army. Marked United States property on lower left side of frame. Colt patent firarms manufacturing Hartford Conn USA on left side of slide with rampid colt emblem. Checkered wood grips appear to be of a later vintage. Grip screws are bird. Magazine is an after market pro Colt 45 auto mag that is not a neal. Frame has flat back strap with a lanyard lug. Pitting on upper left hand side of slide and around muzzle. Bore is clean land and grooves are sharp.
