It precisely copies any original stock, no matter what the length, and has an accuracy of better than .005". The original and a new blank are placed in the rotating mechanism and a small high speed router carves the new stock while a stylus traces over the original. Takes less than 2 hours to carve a new stock, including all the very precise inletting and barrel channel. Will carve objects up to 8" in diameter, including any rifle stock, pistol grips, shotgun stocks, even propellers and skulls.
