Remington Model 31 U.S. Property Riot Pump Action Shotgun, serial # 54634, cal. 12 ga, 18 1/2" barrel with a very good bore, barrel codes Jan. 1942, this U.S. Properly RLB inspected gun is one of approximately 15,000 that were manufactured for the military the majority of which were produced with longer barrels, metal retains 98% original parkerizing with a slight ding in the barrel about 2" behind the muzzle, butt stock and hand guard show some nicks and dings attributed to field use, butt stock has U.S. and RIA stamp indicating a possibly arsenal rework, the butt stock is also stamped with rack number 11, overall condition is very good.
