We’ve sold Ajax Grips for 20 years; they’ve always been the best. Ajax polymer grips have just the right combination of strength and flexibility to fit perfectly and survive well, even under steady diets of Magnum ammunition in N Frame Revolvers. Here are old stock never used condition grips manufactured by Ajax Custom Grips in Dallas, before they reorganized and moved to Carrollton. Screw and escutcheon is solid brass, fully threaded, and extra long so that the grips will fit on any frame thickness, brass is very easy to work with. This is Ajax’s number 19WP , perfect fits for Square Butt Grip Frame Smith & Wesson Revolvers in N frame, including models 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 57, 58, 520, and 629 manufactured from 1955 until about 1995. They are period appropriate configured for any N Square Revolvers. The only recent production revolvers these will fit, are the 29 Classic with Square Butt. These grips will not fit any other revolvers besides a square butt N Frame Smith & Wesson. They Will Not Fit a Round Butt N, like the currently produced models 629. For any shoppers unfamiliar with round and square grip frame butts we have included a comparative photo. These grips have not been shown, installed, handled or even displayed until our photographer opened them. The only detraction we see, is toning to the brass screw and escutcheon, and some attractive aging tint to the panels themselves. The 1966 Model 58 whose grip frame shows in some of our photos is not included, of course. These grips are no longer in production, and have not been now for almost a decade.
