Item Description:

This is a Reed & Son’s high end shotgun in 16 gauge. These were made in Boston on the lat 1800’s and early 1900’s. This one was beautifully engraved and is in all original condition. This rarely seen example will make a nice addition to any collection of early American shotguns. This gun is part of an Estate Sale and as such lay-a-way can’t be used. It does of course have the standard 3 day inspection. Shipping and insurance is $30 and please email me with any questions or larger pictures. (11-277)

I am happy to ship to California. It is the buyer’s responsibility to make sure any item you buy is legal in your state. I am also happy to help with your purchase of a gun other than mine. If you see a gun you would like to buy but the seller can’t or won’t ship to California I’ll be happy help. You buy the gun and have it shipped to me. I’ll then ship to your California dealer. The cost for this service is $20 + shipping. Let me know if I can help!

General Information:

Payment: Payment is by Money Order or Cashiers Checks or by Credit Card through GPal with a 3% surcharge. GPal is a PayPal alternative for gun owners. See or email me for more info. (NOTE: I CANNOT CURRENLTY USE GPAL as they are having finical difficulties) Some items can be paid for using PayPal. This is usually just scopes as firearms, barrels, magazines and similar parts are not allowed under PayPal policy.

Lay-a-way: If needed I offer a 60 lay-a-way option. It is 1/3 now, 1/3 in 30 and 1/3 in 60 days. Lay-a-way Firearm sales are final.

Shipping: The shipping charge will be listed in each auction. It is usually $30 for most guns. Some heavy guns or those insured for over $2000 may be more. I ship using UPS and always insure each item for the full purchase price rounded up to the next $100. In the unlikely event that damage occurs it is important that you save all packaging material for the claims process.

Returns: My return policy is simple. If for any reason you are not pleased with your purchase you may return your item for a full refund. It is important to me that you are happy. Grading and describing used firearms is subjective and especially with collector quality guns different people have different expectations. I think any time you buy a gun without seeing it you should have the option of returning it and you always will with me. Guns of course should not be fired before returning them and must be in the same condition as received. Shipping and dealer fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
