It is a Huskvarna made for import to the U.S. It was a entry level rifle sold under the Husky Model H-5000. This gun was made in the 60's. In later years, the actions were no longer Swedish but German. But they were still sold as Husky Model H -5000. This is a .true Swedish action, the barrel has Swedish crown in front of the barrel lug, and the receiver is marked and has the dull finish(not blue). OAL is 423/4 inches. SERIAL # 269618. The front bead sight can be drifted. The rear iron sight can also be drifted. Barrel is shiny with strong rifling. Included is a Bushnell Banner scope with low weaver rings. The bolt is bent, and slides like butter, as good as any I have seen. Metal and bluing are very good. The walnut stock and fore arm are beautiful. Both are checkered. Only scratches on this gun are on the magazine cover. Safety is a push pull , to the right of the bolt. Stock has a raised comb for easy scope alignment. I can only ship to a ffl.
