This immaculate, very rare, one owner, Model 12 Heavy Duck Vent Rib shotgun, s/n 1789751 (matching), is chambered in 12 ga. 3 inch magnum.
It has a 30 inch, full choke barrel with a spotless, pitless bore. The bluing, with the exception of slight wear marks on the magazine tube, is 100% intact.
Note the barrel proof marks. The receiver mark appears to be "double struck" at the factory but the mark on the barrel is clear as a bell. The bluing in that photo is indicative of the whole gun. The wood is dent, nick and crack free and shows only a very slight amount of wear to the finish in the grip area. The forend wood has no signs of wear...period. The recoil pad is original, pliable and free of cracks. This gun has seen far less than 1000 rounds. You just don't see these great guns in this fine condition anymore.
