Model 12 owners may need a substantial amount of fitting, since many of the Model 12s have thinner-than-normal grip frames. Material is S&W Dymondwood: durable, weather-resistant brown laminate, flatter than the originals but with the same outline and checkering patterns. And the silver-plated factory S&W logo sits right where it always has. Escutcheons are milled brass, and the screw is blue steel.
