Master engraver 'Ralf Weiss' did the exceptional work with scroll engraving on the receiver, top of the top barrel, trigger guard, bottom of the frame and the forearm latch and the break lever. Both side plates have very life like scenes with 2 dogs flushing 4 ring neck pheasants on the left and the right there is a hawk snatching a duck with 4 other ducks scrambling away. The bottom of the receiver shows the signature "R.Weiss".

The wood is triple 'X' fancy, luxury grade, georgeous, oil finish, exhibition blace lace swirl Circassian walnut with a two peice forend and a straight grip. The custom fitted leather case contains two nickel snap caps and a 3 piece walnut cleaning rod. The original Merkel box, numbered to the gun completes the package.
