A rare Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Target Rifle in .220 Swift built early in 1950!! 26 inch target profile barrel (bull barrel at receiver with taper to 0.75 inch at muzzle) with Unertl target scope blocks mounted at factory tapped receiver and barrel locations. Barrel appears to be matte blued stainless steel. Matte finish received. Solid bolt knob. Target style walnut stock with smooth finished flared forearm and smooth pistol grip. Checkered steel butt plate. Inletted rear sling swivel and post style forward sling swivel. Inletted rail / base under forearm for foreend hand stop or sling swivel (sling swivel attachment supplied). Weight = 10 pounds 13.7 ounces. LOP = 13.75 inches. Excellent condition with minor handling marks on stock. Excellent finish. This rifle appears new in many respects (bolt, receiver) but stock has minor handling marks. Serial Number: “139518”.
