Allen and Wheelock Bar Hammer 36 Cal Percussion Pistol

This is an Allen and Wheelock bar hammer pistol. These were made somewhere in the 1845 - 1863 timeframe, although I don't have exact dates, and I don't know the date of manufacture of this one. I believe it is 36 caliber. The 3 digit serial number on the barrel is difficult to make out and may have been damaged while taking the barrel on/off. It looks like 093 to me but all I'm sure of is the trailing digit 3. These barrels were removable and so doesn't match the serial number of the pistol itself which appears to be 230. The pistol isn't in the best condition but isn't a complete rust bucket either. I have no idea of whether it is in firing condition or not, but common sense would tell me to just make a wall hanger out of it.
I am selling this for mother of a friend who lost her husband recently. The pistol belonged to him. All reasonable offers will be considered.
