Springfield Model 1873 made in 1887 as a standard service rifle and issued to the 98th company K of the Tennessee Volunteer Infantry Regiment. Cartridge firing weapon using Government .45-70 caliber ammunition. Current value based on condition with side lock plate/firing pin/sights/original bolts and screws missing. Photograph of rifle available.
