The SMITH & WESSON Model 4046 is the mid-sized DOUBLE-ACTION ONLY (DAO) variant in the 4006 line, and it is just about the right size to carry in a good holster - or fine as a defensive quick to use "house gun". Matte Stainless slide, yet lighter weight due to the alloy frame. Good compromise on controllability for this .40 S&W.
