This is the crown jewel of my collection, and only poor health, and mounting medical costs require it's sale. I purchased this Colt brand new, and have fired a total of 96 rounds for qualification purposes as a Police Officer, "even though I never carried it." It is in mint - as new condition. To say it is a rare version of a Python would be an UNDERSTSATEMENT to say the least. This model was a very limited run, commissioned by Lew Horton Distributors. It was built by the Custom shop,with a ported barrel, and exhibits the best action of ANY Python I have ever owned,( in excess of 40 in my life time ).I never carried it, and treated it the way it should be, as Royalty, and beloved as the finest firearm I have ever had the pleasure of owning.It has spent it's life in a temperature controlled, dehumidified safe, only to be taken out once in a while, and admired. The only change to this great Python was the addition of Mepro, Tru Dot, Tritium night sights. They are fully adjuustable and glow a brilliant Green color, in low light, or no light circumstance. This is an INVESTMENT GRADE Python, and will only continue to increase in value as time goes on. " Just try to find one for sale! It has, and will continue to outpace most investments due to it's rarity. Included are: all Factory nommenclature, and the original box. The only missing item is the dust jacket that enclosed the original box. There is a faint cylinder trace line, as you would expect, from the firing of the aforementioned 96 rounds. There are no signs of holster wear, and it presents itself, as the truly beautiful specimen it really is.The grips are an unusually nicely figured, checkered, Walnut, with the Factory, Gold Medallions.
