Spencer Model 1860 rifle - .50 rimfire; an uncommon opportunity to purchase the seldom-seen Spencer rifle; marked "Boston, MA" and "patented March 6, 1860"; overall firearm is complete throughout in original condition; gun functions completely as it should, including sights and stock, sling swivels, magazine tube; finish on gun is in complete patina; wood shows wear in finish and surface; wood-to-metal fit can be considered better than average for a gun of this age; overall condition of the bore shows clear, clean, and present rifling, however finish has aged to patina from bore to muzzle; serial #23944;
