This double action .38 Special / .357 magnum beauty has the Python standard markings and features including a fixed front sight, adjustable rear sight, wide checkered hammer, ribbed trigger, and the correct factory installed Pachmayr Presentation black checkered rubber grips with gold finish Colt medallions. The Colt Python is known for quality and precision. It has a reputation for being “the finest production revolver ever made”. This example is exceptional in that it has the rare “e-nickel” factory finish and is in absolutely new condition. The excellent, original electroless-nickel finish is beautiful and just as it came from the factory in 1981. The factory installed Pachmayr grips are excellent with excellent "checkering". Metal stampings are strong. The action is tight and excellent. The box is in great shape for being 33 years old, with a small tear or two along the edges. The box label is excellent and identifies it to the pistol by serial number. The label identifies the finish as “E-NICK” and the barrel length as 6 inches. The owner’s manual and papers appear never to have been removed from their factory supplied plastic storage bag. Serial Number = K64768. New in Original Factory Box with Owner’s Manual and papers.
