This is a used Astra Model 600/43 pistol 9 mm Parabellum. Serial # 34256. The serial numbers on the slide and frame match each other.

Its part of the second production contract that was produced for and paid for by the Nazi’s but they never actually took possession. Only the first 10,500 (give-or-take a few) were delivered to the Nazis. Apparently, the second production contract (serial numbers 10,5XX and up) were manufactured 1943 in Spain by Astra but the war ended before the Nazi’s could take possession. They were then stored in the Spanish armory for a few years and eventually sold to the West German police to be used as a service pistol. My understanding is these weapons were decommissioned in the mid-to-late 1950s and began entering the civilian market in early 1960s. My dad picked this one up at that time and I got it from him in 1988. The weapon functions perfectly but I’ve only put about 20 or so rounds through it in the 20 years I’ve had it in my possession. My dad says he only fired it on a couple of occasions in all the years he owned it.

This is a great piece for any collection!! It’s in very good condition considering the age and history of this weapon. It comes with the original issue leather holster and 2 magazines. On the inside of the holster it has written in blue ink “Geyer Hans Fe-Hu-Sud” I’m not sure what that means but my dad said it was on there when her bought it back in the 60s. I’m assuming it was inscribed on there by the person it was issued to back in Germany. The holster has some minor scuffs and scratches, but the belt loops and all stitching are intact and in perfect condition. The bluing on the weapon itself shows some wear marks from where the leather rubbed against it. Other than that, the barrel is pretty clear and the metal is in good overall condition for a WWII era weapon. There is a inscription on the slide that says “Unceta Y Compania S. A. Guernica Espana” Still has the original grips which are in good condition.

Check or money order only.
