The polished blue slide is embelished with scroll engraving & gold out line on sides and scroll engraving and gold Colt logo on top of slide. Sam Colt's famous saying, "GOD CREATED MAN COL. COLT MADE THEM EQUAL", is in gold on one side of the slide and "100 YEARS OF SERVICE" is on the other. It is enhanced by a gold spur hammer, slide release, thumb safety, magazine release and barrel bushing. It also features the Colt faux ivory grips with gold emblems and screws.
