Martini cadet custom, 25-35 caliber. This rifle is a fantastic example of art in the custom rifle. The receiver has been converted to side lever operation, and the sides of the receiver have been scalloped and custom shaped. The front receiver ring has been welded up to match the barrel, a custom safety system has been fitted to the front of the trigger guard, the bottom of the receiver and trigger guard have been welded up to fill in the old under lever system. The barrel that is fitted,is half octagon and, has a full length rib with with raised quarter rib, integrall barrel band front sight and, integrall barrel band front sling swivel. The sights are a 1 standing and one folding leaf express style rear, and a NECG front bead sight. The rear sling swivel, butt plate, forend eschusions, and grip cap are made from hand fordged damascus steel. The butt stock and forend are from a select peice of extra fancy english walnut checkered at 24 lines per inch in a borderles point pattern. The forend has a hand fitted wedge style ebony forend tip and is held to the barrel via a wedge pin. All metal is polished to a 600 grit finish and is in the white and is ready for engraving.
