It has a Douglas XX barrel and the end is about 1" and tapers bigger toward the action, huge fat barrel. Has a Leopold Vari X III 6.5 - 20 scope, I think around 40mm and it has been custom ground by some special guy at Nikon to improve it, custom stock, Mauser action by Interarms and it has the jeweled finish, custom made trigger as they did not like the 5 that they tried and it has a jewel finish, rear butt movable plate (Hughes?) on the Monte Carlo thumb hole stock with checkered forearm and on pistol grip, the part that pushes the ammo up has a jewel finish as does the release lever that lets the action slide out, bipod with screw in legs that are adjustable for height. I don't think it has been shot very much and the original owner, whom I do personally know, said the farthest he shot was 450yds but hit a quarter size target. This was a custom build for him to do competetive shooting by a policeman that has since retired that did the gunsmithing, a guy named Palmer. Took 2 years to make. Barrel is free floating and I believe he said the action was bedded. The bolt has been turned to miss the scope. It comes with a 4 lock aluminum case, but no key. It is sighted for National Match ammo. A gun expert that has the same scope model has said this scope has definitely been reworked and worth more than what you can buy it new. He said he does competition shooting at 600yds and his best grouping is 2-1/2” and he said this was a better than build and should be more accurate. Beautiful bluing at the barrel and at the back of the bolt. He is actively trying to get a friend of his to see it that builds guns because of the craftsmanship on it. The bolt has been remilled and he thinks there is less than 50 rounds through the gun as it showed no sign of wear where the shell is seated on the bolt. $3000 firm For information or question please call Joe at or Shawn at .
