This specimen of the full service size Glock .45 Auto, the Model 21 with rail equipped frame, served and protected our fellow citizens in Wisconsin with the Platteville WI Police Dept. From its FFW serial number prefix, it left the factory in Smyrna, Georgia, in April of 2003, Third Generation with rail type frame. As far as specs, type is striker fired semi-automatic pistol. Weight empty on the Glock Model 21 is only 26.3 ounces; the innovative Glock Polymer damping system, however, significantly reduces felt recoil on this powerhouse. Barrel is 4.60 inches with German style 8 groove polygonal bore that ensures consistent accuracy with diminished fouling. Sight system is Trijicon Night Sight 3 dot system. From our inspection, sight luminosity is about 60 percent of original strength. This pistol comes with its issue high capacity 13 shot magazine, so the loaded capability is 14 shots. Surface detractions are minimal, principally scouring on the side of the grip frame. Holster contact wear to the slide is minimal, as the photos will show. We rate it as Very Good, perhaps even Excellent, 85 to 90 percent vicinity by our estimate; but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean. For civilian buyers in jurisdictions where the 13 round magazine is restricted to law enforcement, we will substitute a 10 rounder.
