Here is a very nice Beretta 21 Double Action pistol in its original box with manual, plastic sheath, and cleaning brush that came from an estate acquisition we recently made. This little Beretta stands apart from its currently marketed descendants, excellent though they are, by virtue of its finish and grips. Its only surface detractions are minimal whitening to the sharp edges on the left side, one light peck on the left grip panel, two small inconspicuous scuffs on the butt end of the right panel, and minimal stress to the left panel’s grip screws. Factory specs are as follows: Single and Double Action Pistol with flip-up barrel instead of extractor – blow-back action, caliber .25 ACP, capacity 8 + 1, barrel length 2.4 inches, manual safety that works in 2 positions, European Walnut grips, blade front sight and dovetailed rear sight, weight 11 oz. empty, blue still and black gloss alloy finish. Since Beretta did not date code their post-1968 small autos, we offer an educated guess that the BAS295xxV serial number dates this fine little piece to the very early 1990s.
