This is an original 1937 U.S. Army Colt 1911A1 .45 acp slide. It retains 98% of the original blue finish. No serial number under the firing pin stop. There is a large "P" proof on the top of the slide in front of the rear sight...see pix. Original narrow front round (not ramped) front sight and small round notch rear sight. Marked "MODEL OF 1911.U.S.ARMY" on the right side. And Rampant Colt between the Patent's & Address. Just the slightest of stain on the right front of slide...see pix. No rust or abuse. Includes the orig. extractor-firing pin-spring & retainer.
