This P7K3 is chambered in .22lr. The gun, the box, and all of the accessories are in mint condition. The gun comes with two grips. The grip on the gun has a thumb rest. The other grip does not. The gun also comes with two magazines. I have owned this gun since the 1990's, during which time I have not shot it.
This gun was manufactured in .22lr. I spoke with Travis Teague. He works for H&K out of the Atlanta office. The main telephone number to the H&K Atlanta office is (706) 568-1906. Mr. Teague inspected the ATF log, which reveals that the gun was imported in 1994 and sold in .22lr to Pagnani's Gun Shop in Moosic, PA.
Please note that only the serial number is stamped on the frame of this gun. No date code or any other code is stamped on the frame of this gun.
The P7K3 is in an original H&K box; however, the box does not have a piece of black plastic tape denoting the serial number of the gun affixed to it. Yes, it is in the same box that I had purchased it. The box contains: the P7K3, a magazine in the gun, an extra magazine, two different cleaning tools, an instruction manual, an extra grip without a thumb rest, and an extra sight.
All state and federal laws apply to the sale of the P7K3. Please ensure that it is legal to transfer the gun to the FFL holder in your state. From my cursory search, it appears that the P7K3 may not be transferred from Virginia to an FFL holder in California because it appears that the P7K3 is not listed on the roster of approved guns which may be transferred into California. Go figure. The P7M8 appears to be on the list, but the P7K3 is not.
