Owned since December 2013 and had trigger lightened and action polished by licensed gunsmith. My gun's action was too stiff out of the box so I had it smoothed out. Marlin said tolerances are much tighter in this newer model, and 90 rounds should be shot to cycle better. Took it to gunsmith instead. Already have older Marlin same caliber that is being shortened to 17 inches and recently bought a 444 used Marlin, so I want to sell the guide gun. I am anxious to shoot it after work done on it but I reconsidered as wanting to sell as new. Have paper to back this up. As NYC resident , want to sell to city or state resident due to SAFE ACT which requires transaction to be completed by dealer from buyer to seller. Transfer fee could be as high as $75 in city, lower in other parts of state. Thus terms are: Payment COD at gunshop which delivery will also beat at. No exceptions! Thank Governor for that.
