This pistol is not C&R Eligible. Here is a West Tennessee locally civilian owned, quality copy of John M. Browning’s 1935 Hi Power pistols. The originals have always been Belgian made; this one comes from FEG, the premiere Hungarian Arms maker. Just like civilian market variants that we sold in the 1980s and 1990s, model number is PJK 9HP. Specs are identical in every respect to the original Browning, down to the 1960s style rounded Commander type hammer: all steel construction Single Action semi-auto with frame mounted safety and magazine safety; Caliber is THE 9mm, 9mm Luger, 9x19, 9mm Parabellum, call it what you will. Construction is entirely steel, 118 mm or 4 5/8 inch barrel, right-hand-twist 6 groove; firing pin safety; weight empty 32 oz / 900 g; fixed sights; .265 smooth face combat trigger and matching Commander style hammer. Like the 1935 original, this KBI has a magazine safety; that is, even with a live round in the barrel and the main safety off, on fire, this pistol will not fire without a magazine in battery. Sights are classic blue steel 3 dot, dovetail notched rear with stake-on half moon front. Magazine is the original factory issue 10 rounder, interchangeable with any Browning Hi-Power magazine. Serial number is G 02000 range, probably 1996 production. We only began receiving F prefix civilian market 9HP pistols in late 1986. Surface detractions on this 9HP are miniamal, only faint whitening on some of its sharp edges. We rate it as Excellent, 90 to 95 percent vicinity. Photos should suffice, at any rate, for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. This pistol is Excellent mechanically. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. This particular 9HP will likely not digest any sharp nosed hollowpoints well; better to stick with round nosed Remingtons or Federal Nyclads; but for that matter, neither would the factory Brownings until the late 1980s. From the looks of the barrel surfaces, we estimate that this KBI has been fired fewer than 400 rounds, no rounds at all for this well made pistol. Construction is entirely bright blue steel. We're offering this eminently serviceable and attractive FEG Hungarian made Hi-Power clone for only $ 389.00. Not transferable to civilian residents of California, District of Colombia, Massachusetts, or New York City. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $10 lower 48; $30 Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, USPS Priority Mail, insured with Delivery Confirmation.
