Winchester Model 1876 2nd Model Rifle 45-60 cal Bore VG plus near exc, Mech Exc, Wood VG plus , Has a standard 28” Oct barrel with original dated 1876 rear ladder type rear sight, the front sight is a replacement . The barrel markings are excellent. The receiver has an original dust cover and the top tang has the Model 1876 marking. The bottom tang has the serial#18934 mfg 1881. The brass carrier has a VG plus 45-60 marking . Metal overall has a faded blue brown patina finish having considerable traces of original blue in protected areas. Very Clean 76 that saw little use.
