This 1886 Winchester rifle is unfired and in about 98+% condition. The wood is almost perfect as is the metal with the exception of the R/H side of the receiver(see last photo). The rifle spent a good many years in the box with no attention and freckling started forming. There is no pitting, but the blue was disrupted in a small area. The rifle features a 26" barrel, large frame receiver for the Government round, buck-horn rear sight with dove-tailed bead front. The gun ships with the factory box and liner but, no manual. The light material in the action is white lithium storage grease. This rifle was manufactured under license of Winchester in Japan.
