The item that you are considering is the rarest of the the rare when it comes to the Barrett rifles. This rifle is one of a hundred that served with the United States Marine Corps during the first Gulf War and documented to prove this with two signed and sealed documents. This rifle is only one of 31 that were let go into in private collections. What makes this one more rare is that when it was returned to Barrett it was fitted with an additional upper in the M107 configuration. What this means is that you can save your original USMC Gulf War upper and shoot your M107 upper. Due to popular demand I have adjusted this listing for the rifle alone with the rifle buyers option to purchase the optics and rings. The $22999.00 gets you the rifle with both uppers and the hard cases. The scope can be purchased buy the buyer of this rifle for an additional $3000. I will not sell the scope before the rifle. The scope is an original unissued Unertl scope that was specifically built for this rifle. The scope comes in the original wooden box from Unertl and comes with a set of Badger SASR rings. The lower receiver is U.S. marked and the M82A1 upper is serialized to the lower. Also, I have a copy of the manual, one magazine and a pelican case that comes with this rifle. NO, I will not sell the scope before I sell the rifle. Pick-up of this item would be the best way, however, if it must then I will ship it. Shipping will be through UPS and will go fully insured. Once the item is sold then I will give an exact shipping quote from UPS insured for the full value. In talking to some collectors about the value of this package I have been given numbers from $40,000 (with only one upper) to $100,000, however, I have it listed for much less in hopes that it will make it into a secure collection where this piece of history can be preserved.
