This is a nice collectible Springfield 1898 Krag chambered in 30-40 caliber. This was built in 1901. The barrel length is 30 inches long. The bore is dark, but you can see the rifling. There is a correct period bayonet dated 1902 with scabbard. The original sling is on the rifle but is broken. This rifle is all original and no replacement parts have been added. There is a cartouche that says JPA 1901.
