US Springfield M-1922 MII 22 LR Rifle has a serial #12597 B. It is a bolt action and only shoots 22LR. The barrel is 24 3/8" long and
the bore is in excellent condition. It has a Lyman receiver peep sight and a standard springfield front sight. There are no provisions
for rear barrel sight. It has a standard grooved trigger. It has a 5 shot box magazine. The forend is grooved and in great condition.
It has an LOP of 13 1/4". It has a half stock with 1 barrel band and no handguard. Deming style pistol grip stock. The markings on the
barrel to the rear of front sight are "S.A / flaming bomb Ord. Mark / 2-27". This gun was originally built as an Model I and later
arsenal converted it to an MII. The walnut stock has darkened over the years. There are several superficial mars and scratches but
nothing significant. No cracks or chips and is very sound. Bolt knob is marked NS / M2, number on bolt button is overlaping front and
back sections 2906B. This is hand marked. Parkerizing on the barrel and reciever is 98+%. The front sight band shows some scuffing +
