This fine Winchester model 21 was engraved by world famous engraver Bill Mains, and the stock was carved by the late stocksmith Fred Shaw(famous for his acorns and oak leaves intermixed with very fine checkering on English Walnut) of Escondido,Ca. It has two bbls. that are both serialized to the gun. SN#61XX. There is a beautiful hunting scene on each side, with gold inlays of pointers and birds and case coloring that blends in uniquely. This gun originally had two 20 ga. 26" bbls. Long before the days of sub gauge tubes, one was converted to .410; necked down to fit the smaller shell. The .410 bbl has a vent rib, and necks down in the middle. The gun tells of another time. The work of masters make it all that it can be. It is beautifully displayed in a custom oak and leather case that has green felt inside , leather straps, brass hardware, and a canvas cover for travel or foul weather. This one of a kind gun must be seen to be appreciated. A letter of authenticity from Bill Mains accompanies the gun. Serious customers only please. I will be happy to take more photos for serious inquiries.
