2009 Remington 700 5R Stainless Steel Mil Spec Bolt Action .308

Brief Description: I need money so up for sale is the ultimate in accurate .308 long range high powered rifle systems ("system" refers to the fact that I am including the top of the line Nightforce Benchrest scope, Badger Ordinance 20 MOA rail and scope rings, Harris adjustable bipod and Pelican waterproof wheeled hard case). This rig consistently shoots under .5 MOA at 600 yards with the proper ammunition! I have only shot 400 rounds so it is still in like new condition. Obvious from the pictures, I have babied it. It was expertly broken in and has been cleaned at least every 25 rounds since new. In short, this is the ultimate .308 system for the discriminating long range shooter.

Barrel: 24" Stainless Steel barrel with 5R rifling with a 1 in 11.25" twist. Same as the M24 used by the U.S. Military. 5 lands and grooves rifling increases accuracy. 11 degree target crown. Stainless Steel resists corrosion. After purchase, barrel was cryo-genically frozen / treated by 300 Degrees Below Zero to eliminate molecular tension in the barrel.

Caliber: .308 Winchester (7.62 x 51mm).

Action: Features the world famous Remington M700 Stainless Steel barreled action used by U.S. Military.

Stock: H S Precision Stock with aluminum bedding in block in standard VS configuration. Ambidextrous height adjustable cheek rest was added after purchase.

Scope Included: 2009 Nightforce 12-42X56 Benchrest 30mm scope with cross hair ranging reticle (Model NF 1242NP1RR).

Trigger: Jewell adjustable custom Remington 700 trigger set to 1.1 lbs.

Case Included: Pelican 1750 case, waterproof with wheels

Scope Rail Included: Badger Ordinance with 20 MOA riser picatinny rails for Remington 700

Scope Rings Included: Badger Ordinance 30mm

Bipod Included: Harris 6-9" with adjustable legs
