My personal rifle I am not a dealer.
New in the box un-fired, 100% mint Winchester 1886 High grade Miroku Super Light 45-70.
This obviously is the highest grade model with all the fancy engraving, gold inlay deer on one side and elk scenes on he other side of the receiver, with dark heavy grain walnut, deep hand cut checkering and the highest gloss finish.
If You want more photos ask me I have many more of it, or You can quickly just to 'Google Image' and type this model in the search box.
This rifle it mint with no outstanding wood grain features so just go look at some internet close ups.
The metal to wood 'fit' is top grade, also there is no slop in the action or roughness in the trigger mechanism, no tooling marks or burs of any kind and the wood to metal is the best You can find from a moderately large factory , rifle.
The factory box it's self is in fine condition with just some scuffs on the corners and has all the original packing foam ,paper work and factory manual.
I paid $1,400 for it a few years ago and it just sits in the safe, the only time it sees light is to admire it.
I have plenty of decent hunting style rifles but this is my only 'fancy' rifle I own , I am a shooter & active back packing deep woods hunter and I just can't see myself putting this on a quad then hiking down into a canyon risking a trip and fall devaluing it and so I am selling it or trading it.
Trade 1) M1A > I will trade it for a standard plane jane Springfield Armory M1A 308 in new or unblemished excellent condition with plastic, 'factory' plastic stock I prefer camo or green, or a SA Scout Squad, no wood stock , I have no interest in SOCOM
Trade 2)AR 308 > Trade for a factory stock version of an AR in 308 with a flat top picitini and a 'floating' forearm in excellent condition.
Dealers: I know You have to 'win' in a trade in other words You want to walk away with cash and a rifle.
Trade value: This value is for band new in the box rifle 'not' used, and so if Your rifle is brand new with a blue book value of $1,400 then I will kick in $400. $1,200 I kick in $200. 'simple'
I have already turned down $950 offers three times , I will be glad to turn it down again, lol .
Comes with a new un-used Hunter brand brown leather ammo belt box , and it comes with a new box of Hornady Lever-Evolution 45-7- ammo.
Do NOT make a false offer to buy, I am finding out fast that the internet brings out guys who are all eyes and no wallet.
Must be shipped to and transferred thru a valid current FFL.
Let's keep this real simple > Money order only, the moment I accept Your offer to buy I will send You my email and if requested even my phone number, once Your money order for $1000 arrives in my mail box I will immediately go to my local gun shop named Welburns Weapons in Central Point Oregon and drop it off there for them to send it to the FFL you have given me in order for them to send it out, 'simple'
Thanks for reading.
