A very fine pre-war Model 70 in desirable 22 Hornet. This rifle has a low 5000's serial number. It is in 98% condition, wood and metal work. (There are 3 small flecks of discoloration on the floorplate.) The bore is bright and unflawed. It is mounted with a vintage Fecker Telescopic Sight, which is also nearly perfect, having worn its screw-in lens caps since it was first taken out of the box. This ultimate varmint combination from yesteryear does not come up for sale often and rarely in this condition. This rifle has been in my safe for 21 years.
